About me

I’ve become a counsellor in later life because I’ve seen how active listening and support can help people get through the challenges they face. My training, work on placement, and experience as a volunteer listener, has deepened my natural empathy for others. My interest and previous work in the arts continues to inspire my curiosity about people, how we connect and what makes that difficult sometimes.

You know yourself, but I can bring my knowledge of different approaches, theories and ways of thinking to our work together so that you feel better equipped to deal with your challenges. I’m experienced in end of life conversations, support and knowledge. I’m reliable, patient and thoughtful.
